We are seeking a skilled construction lead with a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction work; remodeling experience is preferred. This job requires both hands-on construction skills and leadership skills, including the hard skills to produce high-quality work under deadlines, the soft skills to work adjacent expectant homeowners in a residential remodeling scenario, and the professionalism to work in the commercial environment. Must have your own tools: Framing Hammer, Framing Square, Speed Square, Chalk line, Tape Measure 25', Tool Bags, Level 1’ (Torpedo), 2’, and 4’, Cat’s paw, Phillips driver and Flat head, Pliers (Channel locks, Vise Grip, Needle Nose & Wire Cutters), Crescent Wrench, 5lbs Sledgehammer, Knee pads, Screw Gun, Impact Driver / Assorted Bits, Circular Saw (Battery / Electric), Cordless Drill Driver (Assorted Bits), Nail Guns (Framing / Trim), Ladder (4’ & 6’), Extension Cord (3 prong)

JOB DUTIES

Maintain a strong line of communication between the field crew and the office crew.

Schedule and lead your crew to complete jobs on time and within budget.
Motivate and inspire employees through positive reinforcement and timely feedback on expected safety, quality, and productivity-related goals.
Build a collaborative environment where teamwork can thrive.
Provide the crew with opportunities to learn and grow by demonstrating new techniques in a friendly manner.
Ensure all electronic timesheets are submitted daily and accurately coded to the correct project.
Ensure crew members follow RGBS's daily company policies and procedures.
Lead by example.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Follow all safety requirements written in the company Health & Safety Handbook and as specified in any training.
Attend and participate in all Safety Meetings.
Ensure that every job site operates at maximum safety compliance by conducting daily and weekly observational assessments and reporting any new safety concerns to management.
Ensure that your crew observes all safety measures, wears any assigned Personal Protective Equipment, and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Report any accidents or injuries immediately.
