Perfect job for Retired Mechanic or Side Job for a current mechanic
Small mobile grooming company seeks an on call and part-time person to fix mechanical and RV type issues with 5 Sprinter vans with custom outfitted grooming stations. Because these vans are outfitted with water and gray water tanks, propane tanks and lithium batteries not generators, they have a lot of troubleshooting and maintenance needs.
These vans are on the road 7 days a week, 10 hours per day and downtime is costly. So this work is mainly done early morning before 9am or after 7 or 8 at night. If a van is free one day, then the hours can be flexible. We want a long-term relationship - someone who the staff can call with question, troubleshoot while groomer is on the road or come to the location and work on the vans. We expect anywhere from 4-10 hours weekly and to pay an hourly fee for hours worked. Clean MVR and Background required.
