Job Summary : This job requires repair and maintenance on semi truck and trailers and various on and off road equipment, as required to meet the needs of contract fulfillment. All mechanics are responsible to maintain a clean and safe working environment and all necessary tools to meet job requirements. This job is primarily performed indoors, however, may be performed outdoors. Responsibilities :
Operate and perform all tasks in a safe and efficient way according to policies and procedures
Remove and replace parts on heavy machinery and trucks
Troubleshoot and repair trouble areas on heavy machinery and trucks
Climb on and off trucks and equipment
Work in awkward positions for prolonged periods of time
Reach overhead for prolonged periods of time while manipulating objects
Grip, pinch and manipulate objects of various dimensions and weights with one or both hands
Maintain a clean working area
Operate all equipment used to repair machines
Must be able to meet insurance requirements to drive company owned vehicles
Perform any additional work deemed necessary by the Supervisor/Foreman
