Description We are offering a role for a Technical Trainer to join our team in Hartford County, Connecticut. As a Technical Trainer, your focus will be on instructing and training customers and employees on the Smart Factory for operation, maintenance, and programming. This role is crucial in ensuring our customers and employees are well-versed in the use and maintenance of our systems, and will require travel to our Smart Factory and customer sites.Responsibilities: Conduct standardized training classes for personnel and customers on ICB Systems in our training center at headquarters and at customer sites Support the implementation of Training 4.0 strategies, including webinars and virtual classrooms Evaluate and improve training procedures and manuals in consultation with the Training Manager to meet customer demand and achieve highest customer satisfaction Collaborate with technical writers and curriculum developers in compiling and reviewing documentation and data Travel to customer locations and/or other facilities in the US and abroad for training or research needs Maintain records on training schedules and personnel trained Provide evaluations on Customers and Service Engineers during their training Collect and assess feedback from students on your training courses Participate in projects, Continuous Improvement and SYNCHRO activity Interface with technical writers and curriculum developers in compiling and reviewing documentation and data.This role requires a strong technical background and excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Technical Writing and strong PC skills (OS, networking, Office) are also essential.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Trainer or a similar role. Proven experience in technical writing. Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in creating and conducting technical training programs. Ability to explain complex information in an understandable way. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus. Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Certification such as Certified Technical Trainer is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office and database software. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with colleagues and customers. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving abilities. High level of patience and excellent listening skills.
