Blend is seeking an experienced, energetic Human Resources Business Partner to join our Mexico team. This is a unique hybrid role that combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on operational excellence. You will be the go-to person for our leaders and employees. A trusted advisor who understands both the big-picture talent strategy and the details of onboarding and day-to-day employee support. As this is a new office, you will also be expected to help build and establish the HR processes, structure, and foundations needed for the office to operate effectively. This role requires you to be comfortable with ambiguity, self-directed, and genuinely excited about both high-level HR design and the operational rigor that makes it work.Strategic Partnership and Culture BuildingPartner with the business leaders and members of the global People Operations team on talent strategy, organizational design, and people decisions that directly impact business outcomesServe as a trusted advisor on leadership development, succession planning, and retention of key talentDesign and champion culture initiatives that reinforce Blend values and create belonging across the regionLead conversations around employee engagement, performance, and development with empathy and business acumenProvide thoughtful, candid counsel on complex interpersonal, performance, and organizational challengesSupport managers with coaching and frameworks to help them lead more effectivelyHR Operations and AdministrationManage all aspects of employee onboarding, including documentation, compliance, and cultural integrationAdminister employee benefits, compensation, and payroll coordination; serve as the point person for employee benefits questionsMaintain accurate employee records, data integrity, and HRIS systems.Ensure HR policies are implemented consistently, up-to-date, and compliant with local regulationsCoordinate with external HR service providers (payroll, legal, benefits) and manage vendor relationshipsPrepare HR reports, metrics, and dashboards that give leadership visibility into people-related trendsAbout YouYou are a strategic operator with hands-on HR expertise and the mindset to excel in both spaces:Self-starter and driven: You take ownership, anticipate needs, and do not wait for direction.
