Line Cook

The position requires a breakfast/lunch cook with experience. This is a part-time position Wednesday through Sunday. No evenings shifts.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Prepares, cooks and presents food to order, following established guidelines and recipe specifications.

Practices speedy service.

Stays organized and stocked.

Meets and maintains all food and plate specifications.

Maintains proper food temperatures.

Meets established cook-time standards.

Follows correct prepping procedures, properly stores and rotates perishable stock in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.

Prepares special orders as requested.

Organizes and maintains work areas, coolers and storage areas.

Assists with product inventory and deliveries.

Cleans, sanitizes and organizes work area.

Washes dishes, pots and pans when required.

Adheres to all safe food handling principles.

Qualification Standards

Ability to move up to 50lbs.

Flexible with reliable transportation.

Team player.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Must meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling.

Line cooking experience preferred. Must have reliable transportation.
