Job description: Biohazard technician will be on call to respond to ongoing and incoming requests from the citizen of Las Cruces to clean up biohazard waste (human feces). Technician will be available to respond to work orders within 24 hours of receiving the work order. This position is part time going into full time starting at $17-$18/hour. No experience required, but power washing experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
Drive the company vehicle to job sites
Load and unload equipment from work vehicle
Operate Pressure Washing equipment to clean surfaces
Check equipment for good working order and water supply
Inspect surfaces for any missed spots after cleaning
Correctly filling out digital work order
Properly wear PPE when required
Requirements
Can lift/push/pull 70 pounds
Safely drive van with 12-foot trailer attached
Have a valid Driver’s license
Have clean Motor Vehicle Record
No smoking inside van
Can operate smart phone/ tablet
Pass random drug test for illegal drugs or alcohol
Take all training required for job position (OSHA, Hazmat communication, etc.)
