Job Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Equipment Oiler to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform routine oiling and lubrication of heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent equipment wear. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment maintenance, possess strong attention to detail, and be committed to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine oiling and lubrication of heavy equipment, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
2. Check and maintain fluid levels to ensure proper functioning of machinery.
3. Inspect equipment for leaks, damage, or wear, and report any issues to the maintenance team.
4. Keep accurate records of oiling and lubrication schedules for each piece of equipment.
5. Collaborate with maintenance technicians to identify and address potential maintenance needs.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing oiling tasks.
7. Clean and maintain oiling equipment and tools.
8. Assist in minor maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Oiler or similar role.
2. Knowledge of different types of heavy equipment and their lubrication needs.
3. Ability to work independently and efficiently.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
5. Basic understanding of safety protocols in a heavy equipment environment.
6. Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and climbing.
7. Effective communication skills.
