The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling equipment.  This position is for a hands-on problem solver, who is detail oriented, and able to work with minimal support. Ensure safe and compliant operations by following all safety procedures, reporting hazards, and adhering to company policies, including HSE, ISO, and quality standards.Interpret technical documentation such as metric and imperial prints with GD&T to determine optimal work steps, tooling, and fixturing for part production.Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machinery to complete production orders with high quality and efficiency, while using precision measuring tools to ensure part accuracy.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to reduce cost and lead time, and developing innovative solutions for low-volume manufacturing.Support cross-functional flexibility and collaboration by flexing to different machines as needed, ensuring smooth shift transitions, and maintaining open communication.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment by performing basic equipment maintenance and working with the team to uphold workplace standards.
