This is a leadership role with responsibility over an accounting and clerical department. As the Controller, you will plan and direct all accounting operational functions, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, assess accounting and internal control systems, and guide departmental staff. Respond on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Reviews deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations
Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effective
Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required
Support punctual cash collection by managing the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques
Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash
Perform tasks associated with month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis
Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
Present executive committee and partners with monthly financial reports
Evaluate, apply and refine policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies
Manage the creation of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis

Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
Shared Services experience preferred
US GAAP experience
Complex Financial Analysis experience
Proven knowledge of Consolidated Financial Statements
Practical knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central
Well-founded grasp of Manufacturing Cost Accounting
Foundational knowledge in Analyze Financial Statements
Solid understanding of Month-end Close Activities
General familiarity with revenue recognition
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred
