Carpenter/Maintenance
The ideal candidate must perform quality work with attention to detail in order to meet and exceed our client’s needs. Scheduling and coordinating work activities with other trades and subcontractors while communicating schedule impacts or change orders in a timely manner is of high importance, as is working knowledge of building and erecting metal buildings including, framing, siding, and metal roofing. The candidate must also be able to complete job from foundation to finish.
Candidate must be willing to live in the Carlsbad area. Per Diem is NOT provided unless required or stipulated in the contract with the customer/client.
Must also be very versatile and willing to complete different tasks as needed. Including but not limited to construction, mowing, landscaping, remodeling and repairs on properties.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
Metal and wood framing skills.
Applicants must be drug free, pass a driving history screening and criminal background check.
Incentive Package
Hourly pay ranges depending on experience ($24 – $28 per hour)
Benefits include medical, dental (both after 60 days of service), vacation, holidays, & simple plan (after one year of service).
