PLEASE RESPOND WITH A RESUME AND A GOOD WORKING PHONE NUMBER

As an Electrical Engineer, you are vital to our organization's operations. You perform a variety of duties that support our electric cooperative's short- and long-term performance. Alongside your team, you diligently analyze our electrical distribution system, and you develop a four-year maintenance and construction plan to protect and maintain that system. You assist with analyzing load flow, short circuits, and relaying schemes as well as help develop voltage, arc flash, and coordination studies. Using this data, you develop long- and short-range planning, design, and inspection processes to optimize distribution.

You collect essential data that your team then uses to design these distribution facilities and complete other job functions. While we create designs, you ensure we comply with all environmental and regulatory requirements. As the design comes together, you assist with preparing bid contracts while keeping an eye on project costs. You also step up to help solve electrical issues or outages by troubleshooting problems with utility devices and assisting field crews with restoring service.

Thinking proactively, you determine what system upgrades we'll need in the future as we increase our loads and expand our business. You also assist with developing an engineering department business plan and ensure it is cohesive with our company's overall goals. You take great pride in helping coordinate our electrical engineering department and optimizing our overall operations!
