RESTAURANT MANAGER – PALACE RESTAURANT (SANTA FE)
Compensation: $65,000 base salary, potential increase based on experience, commission incentives
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision Insurance (50% of premium covered for primary member after 30 days of employment)

We are seeking a passionate, inventive Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team and help shape the next chapter of one of Santa Fe’s most iconic dining destinations. We’re looking for someone who leads with heart, thrives in hospitality, and loves creating exceptional guest experiences. This position is all about people, creativity, and leadership. You will guide and support the front-of-house team, build genuine relationships with locals and regular guests, and collaborate closely with our chef and bar management team. The role includes helping create wine dinners, cocktail events, and unique programming that elevate the Palace experience and strengthen our connection to the community.
As Restaurant Manager, you will be deeply involved in daily operations—managing service with calm professionalism, training staff, maintaining standards, and ensuring strong communication between FOH and BOH. You will help drive sales, promote our new patio bar, and foster a positive, solutions-focused culture. This is a fast-paced and physically active role that requires presence, leadership, and a genuine love of hospitality.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Minimum two years of food service or restaurant leadership experience
Wine knowledge preferred, or a strong desire to learn
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures
Moderate reading and writing skills required
Ability to work independently with sound judgment
Strong guest relations and community-building skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role requires regular talking, listening, and guest interaction. You will frequently use your hands and fingers, handle tools and restaurant equipment, and move throughout a busy dining room and kitchen. Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds, and comfortably navigate stairs. You will be exposed to kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, mixers, slicers, dishwashers, chef’s knives, and other standard tools. Manual dexterity, visual attentiveness, and auditory awareness are essential.
