Santa Fe Farmers’ Market is seeking a Café team member with excellent BARISTA skills. This position is responsible for making quality espresso drinks, selling ready made food and beverages, serving ice cream, toasting bagels.
The Farmer’s Market is a fast paced public facing environment, and this position requires exceptional customer service skills and cashier responsibilities.
Other tasks include setting up, stocking, breaking down, and cleaning Cafe area and other duties as required.
The shifts are as follows:
SATURDAYS 6:30 to 2 pm
TUESDAYS 6:30 am to 2 pm May through end of December
SUNDAYS occasionally
Qualifications & skills:
Trained barista with at least a year of experience
Reliably showing up for early morning markets
Energetic & hard working
Calm, clean, & organized
Work well as a part of a team and solo
Standing for long periods of time and entire shift a must
Must be able to lift at least 30lbs
Food handler certification or willing to obtain one within two weeks of hire (will be reimbursed)
$11 hourly wage plus tips (tips average $12-20 per hour)
