Compensation to start is 55 K salary ( 45-50hr/week) after 1 month renegotiate salary and potential for commission.
This is a career pass to become Executive Chef.
Responsibilities and skills include:
Respect and love of "real" food
Organize workload of high volume service and catering
Accurate and fast on the line
Supervise cooks and assist as needed
Write schedule, hire and train
Is flexible, some day some evening shifts
A team player who communicates effectively
Work with ever changing produce from the local Farmer’s Market
Create daily specials
Maintain quality, consistency and timeliness for daily service
Has a gifted eye for clean elegant plate presentation
Keep food cost and labor cost on budget
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen
Has Manager Food-handler Certificate
