I’m looking for caregivers for my husband to fill in open slots when my full time staff goes on vacation or is out sick.
Requirements:
1. Some prior experience with caregiving. References required.
2. Strong and coordinated. My husband had a stroke and requires assistance with wheelchair and bathroom transfers as well as showering. He’s only 110 pounds now but strength and good backs are required for everyone’s safety.
3. Fragrance free. This means no air freshener use or laundry or personal care products with scent.
4. Compassionate and grounded are good fits for our home. Enjoys looking at picture books or watching nature in our garden to engage my husband are plusses. Please do not apply if you only want to engage with your own phone. He needs stimulation.
5. Likes to cook healthy simple meals is a plus. Keeps kitchen and his areas neat and clean (we have a housekeeper for deep cleaning). Loves dogs is another plus. Our Teddy Bear poodle is a sweetheart and playtime and walks with caretakers is part of his day.
