We are looking for a helper for a 95 year-old female who needs a little help with meals, shopping, and organizing. She is a lovely person, former ballet teacher, who still lives on her own. She has friends and family but we need another person on our team. Occasionally, take her to a doctor visit. She does not require a lot of chit chat, loves to read and play games on the computer, and does not have any pets. Shifts are not long and are around mealtimes. She has a housekeeper twice a month so light clean up is all that is needed. We need a person who is not prone to illness, since she is 95 and enjoys her life. Unfortunately, she got covid recently and is very concerned about getting sick again. We require a mask to help her feel comfortable.
Please email us and tell us a little about yourself, your relevant work experience (taking care of relatives, paid care work, etc). This woman lives at Montecito (a senior living community) near St. Francis and Rodeo. Shifts are usually an hour, but more if shopping or taking her to an appointment. Current valid driver's license and insurance to be verified. We will also require references that we will call.
