Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including primary care, urgent care, and functional medicine. This role requires proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
-Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages.
-Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
-Perform diagnostic evaluations, including ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and medical interpretation
-Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
-Manage acute and chronic conditions
-Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
-Stay current with advancements in medical practices and technologies relevant to the role.
Requirements
Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of New Mexico
Experience in Family Medicine
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems, and medical documentation practices.
Strong clinical skills in areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, and general family medicine
Ability to perform procedures
Experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
