General Overview:
The Landscape Maintenance Crew member is responsible for executing skilled maintenance, care, and minor modifications on client properties under the guidance of the Landscape Maintenance Foreman. This role involves operating various lawn maintenance equipment and hand tools outdoors, across diverse weather conditions.
Essential Duties:
Be punctual to work assignments and daily work schedule
Collaborate within a team environment, following directions effectively, and contributing to the team's success.

Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks including using different types of mowers, trimming, and edging around various features on the property.
Hand-weeding, thinning, and cleaning flower beds and grounds as needed, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
Perform common landscape maintenance activities such as seeding, watering, and mulching.
Assist in planting new vegetation under the direction of the Landscape Maintenance Foreman.
Operate all power tools and equipment safely according to instructions and always wear necessary safety gear.
Adhere to scheduled deadlines while maintaining quality and customer service standards.
Work physically demanding tasks outdoors in changing weather conditions, while wearing appropriate protective gear.
Assist the Landscape Maintenance Foreman in providing direction, training, and monitoring team members when necessary.
Ensure team members comply with company policies, safety protocols, and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and safety across job sites and equipment, reporting any issues promptly to supervisors.
Monitor vehicle and equipment conditions, ensuring proper functioning and fluid levels before use.
Drive company vehicles as required, facilitating transportation of team members, materials, and equipment to job sites.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months’ experience in landscaping or construction field.
Self-motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
Punctual, dependable, and possess a positive attitude.
Be able to work overtime as needed.
Basic knowledge of plant identification.
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of relevant tools, materials, and procedures.
Ability to work effectively with individuals of varying backgrounds and skill levels.
Physical demands include continuous movement, lifting, and operating machinery, with exposure to various environmental elements.
Ability to communicate effectively, withstand outdoor conditions, and work extended hours with little or no notice.
Education & License:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean record (meeting insurance requirements).
