Personal Office/Medical Manager (75k/yr)

I am a forty-something professional artist who suffers from chronic illnesses which currently leave me disabled in a variety of ways. I have been overseeing a small team of caregivers for myself but changing circumstances have rendered the need for someone to manage the team and my medical needs.

This role requires someone with extensive managerial experience who can also fill the role of a caregiver as needed. This person is extremely well organized, detail oriented, and able to track many things with well-established and maintained systems. They are tech savvy and enjoy creating and improving upon office systems to maximize efficiency. They possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, are a gifted facilitator, and can adeptly manage a small, diverse team.

Our small team of assistant/caregivers is a collection of kind individuals who value skilled communication, personal growth, collective care, healthy boundaries, and creative expression. The job itself also calls for these qualities, and specifically encourages creativity in the context of efficiency.

Caregiving tasks are atypical in a variety of ways. Although I manage most of my own personal care, cooking, hygiene, etc. I do need assistance with many day-to-day tasks. While this position is primarily managerial and the other team members will do the majority of the caregiving, the manager will also need to assist with these tasks as needed.
