Job duties includes Participating in the planning and development of the CSS program. Assists in the coordination of fundraising efforts including, but not limited to, “For the Health of It” and “Paint Taos Pink.” Performs intakes, one on one coaching, connects clients to cancer support resources and provides follow-up. Collects and reports data, maintains client files on each CSS recipient. Manages CSS budget, vendor invoicing, and reimbursement. Schedules and leads quarterly meetings of the CSS advisory council. Supervises contract staff. Works with Marketing to perform outreach and promotion of the program. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience and skill set required.
Personal knowledge and/or experience with cancer and/or end of life is preferred
Experience with grant-funded program development and implementation is preferred
Experience in organizing resources, establishing priorities, performing complex tasks and prioritizing multiple activities/tasks required
Cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community required.
Computer skills required
Reliable transportation with valid New Mexico driver’s license required
Public Speaking skills preferred
Knowledge of community, state and federal resource/service preferred
Knowledge of finance accounting, budgeting and cost control procedures preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
