team strives to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere in our 5,000 square
foot showroom, thoughtfully curating it to help you envision your new space. We
are a proud female owned business with local roots.
Core Responsibilities of the In-Store Designer Position
Design and set the showroom daily. We seek someone with strong design
skills and an eye for collaging a variety of unique items.
Problem solve design challenges with creativity and flexibility (by mixing
and matching crazy items, figuring out space constraints, etc.)
Prepare for deliveries & reset the showroom after items are sold. There is
high showroom turnover.
Move furniture frequently (as items sell, when new design needs arise, when
deliveries arrive). You must be able (with a partner) to move sofas, club
chairs, dining tables, consoles, cabinets, large rugs etc.
Post design content on social media and build our web presence and
promotional materials
Interact with customers and support the showroom team with sales. Must be
good working with people and comfortable interacting with customers.
Must be comfortable on ladders to hang chandeliers, artwork, change light bulbs,
etc.
