Chocolate + cashmere is offering an opportunity for an aspiring/promising or seasoned Sales Professional. Hourly rate depends best on experience. We offer a fabulous commission structure and a product to be proud of. Our business, as well as this position, is unique because it is closely tied to the product we also make here in Santa Fe. As a Salesperson, your role is closely “knit” to the makers. You will meet the chocolate makers and the knitters and learn why and how we make things worthy of a lifetime of use. You will be close to the tastes and quality of our product. This is why the ideal candidate finds a natural alignment and passion for the product we created. He or she can thrive in an environment that is creative, connected, curious, caring, and clear.
Logistically, our downtown stores in Taos and Santa Fe are located just off the plaza(s). The historic location of our stores brings all sorts of people– making it an active, diverse and friendly environment. We align with this and we hope to align ourselves with people who will thrive by being of service to the space, to our customers, and to the business. We are a team of about 20 mostly women. We operate two websites and 3 retail stores. Our knitwear manufacturing aspect is 18 years old and our first store was opened 10 years ago.
To summarize, we have recognized success for both company and person when our Salespeople find “harmony in service” to the full-circle, multi-dimensional aspects of our product and company.
