Santa Fe Dry Goods, Workshop and Wild Life, a collection of high-craft, luxury goods located in the heart of Santa Fe, seek a Shipping & Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position works within our shipping department alongside our Shipping/ Receiving and Inventory teams to service our three storefronts and eCommerce presence.
Responsibilities include:
-Ensuring orders are complete, packaged, shipped and delivered in a timely manner
-Handling and packaging fragile ceramics, glassware and pottery safely and efficiently
-Directing the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
-Inspecting labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders
-Communicating with UPS, FedEx and International shipping services
-Reporting activities, concerns and potential arenas for growth to the management team.
Requirements:
-Shipping experience with high-value merchandise such as designer fashion, fine crafts, artwork, glassware, or ceramics
-Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
-Ability to learn new software programs quickly
-Ability to contemplate and change packaging in accordance with what is being shipped
-Excellent organizational skills
-Flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure
-Proactive communicator and problem-solver
-High attention to detail
-Willing to operate cross-departmentally to support shipping and receiving
The role pays a competitive base hourly of $19-$22/hr DOE with bonus opportunities for fantastic performance.
