Extremely busy, well established local graphics and film props shop looking for an experienced full-time employee. Candidates should possess:
Previous high volume print shop or sign shop experience, excellent attention to detail and quality, faultless reliability and work ethic, organizational and customer service skills; good communication and ability to work as a team; digital skills - Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop) experience a plus; general mechanical abilities and experience; clean driving record. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, on their feet much of the day, handle up to 50 lb. loads, be able to work at reasonable heights (infrequent ladder work), and be proactive related to various projects underway.
Typically job will include:
-Handling incoming phone calls
-Loading roll media onto printers
-Loading substrates onto CNC equipment and flatbed printer
-Removing finished output from printers and CNC
-Assembling/finishing output for final product delivery
-Cleaning and maintaining equipment/areas for next project
-Occasional graphics work (layout, typeset)
-Occasional outside installation work and deliveries using shop vehicles.
Some critical skills:
-attention to detail
-ability to lift 50lbs
-fabrication experience
-large format printing experience
-safe operation of common hand tools (electric and others)
-safe operation of larger shop tools (table saw, chop saw, panel saw, CNC equipment, MIG welder)
-critical thinking skills to ensure safety, efficiency, accuracy

Our shop produces general commercial signs; large-format eco-solvent roll and UV flatbed printing; grand format UV roll printing; high-end museum exhibit graphics; film production props; CNC router output; and have light fabrication, welding and manufacturing capabilities (wood, aluminum, steel, plastics, foams, etc.).
We offer a fast-paced, fun work environment with interesting and diverse projects; excellent pay commensurate with experience/skills (min. $15 per hour to start, with possible higher starting wage depending on candidate's abilities); 5 day work week with holidays paid; health insurance and retirement benefits after employment milestones.
