Delivery Driver - Amanda’s Flowers, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Amanda’s Flowers is searching for a dedicated and highly reliable Delivery Driver to join our team on a part-time basis. If you enjoy being on the road, delivering smiles with each bouquet, and have a passion for excellent customer service, this role is perfect for you! Who You Are:
- Location: Based in or near Santa Fe, NM
- Attributes: Highly reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
- Skills: Strong navigation skills, familiar with GPS and local routes
- Team Player: Works well with the floral team and other drivers
- Communicator: Friendly and clear in communication
- Physically Fit: Able to lift and carry floral arrangements and supplies
- Safe Driver: Maintains a clean driving record and follows traffic laws
What You Will Do:
Delivery Operations:
- Deliver floral arrangements to customers' homes, offices, and event venues
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries according to schedule
- Handle flowers and arrangements with care to maintain their quality
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience with each delivery
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details
- Address any delivery issues or concerns professionally
Logistics:
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency
- Load and unload floral arrangements and supplies from the delivery vehicle
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
Support and Coordination:
- Coordinate with the floral team and shop owner regarding delivery schedules
- Assist in the shop with light duties as needed when not on deliveries
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
Position Details:
- Title: Delivery Driver
- Employment Status: Part-Time, Non-exempt
- Reports to: Shop Owner
- Salary: $16 per hour (Starting Rate) + tips
- Hours: Thursday - Saturday, 8:45 AM - 4:00 PM
Requirements:
- Reliability is a must: Must be dependable and punctual for all scheduled shifts
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop (Deliveries will be made using our company van)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery experience is a plus
