Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, problem-solving team player with a strong technical background to fill our

Jr.

IT Specialistposition.

You will be responsible for performing all of the necessary technical work for managing office IT infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be able to respond to users with their IT office needs.
  • Deploy workstations and laptops.
  • Change printer cartridges and/or help users if they are having printing problems.
  • Help users with telephone and headset issues.
  • Using guidelines provided open tickets to set up VPN access from clients to servers.
  • Call and work with our vendors to trouble shoot issues wherever they may occur.
  • Provide support and communication via email, phone, and in person.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
  • Using guidelines print access cards and manage access control for users.
  • Address and close tickets opened by users and assigned to you.

Education/Training/Experience:

  • Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technical discipline required.
  • 1-2 year’s experience in office infrastructure and office technologies required.
  • Experience in a customer service or help desk preferred.
  • Knowledge of Windows environments, with basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common networking issues.
  • Network+ or A+ certification a plus.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position at our HQlocated in Elmwood Park, NJ. Remote work isavailable.
