NPosition Type ManagementThis is a temporary position.JOB SUMMARYSr. Above Property Rooms Controller is a Remote Position that completes front desk checklist tasks on behalf of resort and large convention hotels.Education and Experience 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; or experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, operations or related professional area.OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, operations or related professional area.CORE WORK ACTIVITIESBuild Successful Relationships Communicate daily with hotel teams to understand needs of hotel. Participate in a weekly or daily stand up with hotel, based on service tier, to review priority tasks and/or upcoming events. Develops and manages internal key stakeholder relationships in a proactive manner. Acts as a liaison, when necessary, between property and regional/corporate systems support.Organize and Coordinate Pre-Arrival Planning Run the GPS report and identify Bonvoy preferences/personalized information/special occasions/redemption stays. Review Arrivals Dashboard in GXP for today +2 days and block reservations with special request codes. Follow guidelines from property leadership to determine blocking process for Elite/notable/VIP guests. Send Pre-Arrival Emails. Communicate to property when blocking is complete. Coordinate large crew arrival and departure patterns utilizing rooming lists.Execute Digital Guest Experiences Process Mobile Check-in and Mobile Key requests Process Mobile Chat Dispatch chat requestsReview Room Availability Oversold Nights Out of Order RoomsResolve and/or escalate Customer Care Cases Review negative cases report in GXP Block rooms for guests on the Negative Cases Report and ensure room is inspected prior to arrival to avoid additional opportunities.Additional Responsibilities Perform additional duties as assigned.Salary Range: $23.86 to $25.00 per hour.Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.FLEX opportunities offer coverage for medical, dental, vision, health care flexible spending account, dependent care flexible spending account, life insurance, disability insurance, accident insurance, adoption expense reimbursements, paid parental leave, 401(k) plan, stock purchase plan, discounts at Marriott properties, commuter benefits, employee assistance plan, and childcare discounts.
