IT Service Desk TechnicianJob DetailsJob LocationAlbany-Academy Main-NRFS - Albany, NY Position TypeFull Time Education LevelHigh School/GED Salary Range$21.74 - $25.88 Hourly Travel PercentageOver 50% Job ShiftDay Job CategoryInformation Technology POSITION OVERVIEWPosition Summary This position is responsible for providing support to customers, students, staff, management, and executive personnel for the information technology tools utilized by the agency in the achievement of its mission. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Complete and assign IT trouble tickets and maintain appropriate records. Resolve problems related to computer hardware, software, and peripherals, copiers, telephones, password resets, and A/V systems.
Configure, image, and install new PC and laptop computers on agency networks.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on PCs and laptop computers.
Deploy and configure peripherals (printers, scanners, cell phones, etc.).
Configure and install agency software applications and clients on agency PCs and laptops.
Maintain inventory control for all agency hardware and software licenses.
Conduct basic end user training for hardware, MS Office software, network storage, telephone systems, and AV systems as required.
Set up and operate AV equipment to support presentations and events.
Assist with complex IT projects as required.
Assist with daily administrative tasks.
Must have reliable transportation.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma/GED
6 months to 1 year related experience
Certification / Licensure
Valid NYS Drivers License
