Job Title: Java Developer with IBM WebSphere - HBITS-02-11390

Location: Albany, NY 12210.

Job Description:
  • 84 months experience designing and implementing highly available and scalable multitier applications using Object Oriented or Service Oriented Architecture involving data structures, algorithms, software design and JEE design patterns.
  • 84 months experience in creating technical designs and deploying applications in IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1 or higher, WebSphere Application servers 6.0 or higher using JAVA Development Kit (JDK 1.5 or higher).
  • 84 months experience planning, designing, implementing and integrating systems related to criminal justice processing (including but not limited to: disposition processing, fingerprint identification processing, criminal history updating, Sex Offender management, tracking of Wanted/Missing persons, or initiatives related to Offender Supervision).
  • 48 months experience in architecting, designing, and developing solutions using Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana.
  • 60 months experience in developing application using JBOSS Drools Rule frame work.
  • 48 months experience in identifying and resolving application performance issues.

Detailed Job Description:
Provide technical oversight to application development teams working in multiple projects, which may include but is not limited to: disposition processing, fingerprint identification processing, criminal history updating, content management, tracking of Wanted/Missing persons, or initiatives related to Offender Supervision. Guide development teams working in highly available and scalable multitier applications using Object Oriented or Service Oriented Architecture. Plan project resourcing and interact with executive management for planning and status reporting purposes.
