Learn more at www.conduent.com.Job DescriptionThe Manager of the App Product Design & Development Team will be a critical member of the Conduent Legal and Compliance Analytics (CLCA) team. Our new VIA platform provides custom solutions to Fortune 500 clients that automates business processes, reduces costs, and mitigates risk. Our solutions are powered by machine learning and AI, and provide advanced insights with data analytic dashboards. As a recognized Leader, you will be responsible for guiding multiple teams of software engineers building a framework for configurable components used to build out solutions to enable consistency and efficient development turnaround across all product solutions on our VIA platform. Integrating with the agile process and working closely with the product owners and product development teams will be critical to promote the vision of the VIA SaaS products. A successful candidate for the role of Manager of the App Product Design & Development is someone with a positive, can-do approach to evaluating and pursuing new ideas, and applying appropriate judgment to ensure that processes support developing these solutions. This key role will help our teams to develop a compelling and innovative product portfolio to grow our business and provide a clear competitive advantage.Core Responsibilities

Manages Multiple Teams of Software Engineers

Assist in driving the user experience strategy for a dynamic business solutions and analytics platform

Meet with Product Owners to determine application and website requirements.

Collaborate with Product Owners to build mockups for new product solutions.

Upgrading existing websites and applications.

Developing technical specifications.

Writing scalable code for cloud applications.

Reviewing and debugging cloud-based solutions.

Providing support and code reviews for junior developers.

Deploying functional websites, programs, and applications in a cloud environment.

Drafting software and application operating procedures.

Work collaboratively with architecture team members to develop a library of components that are configurable to be used across a variety of business use cases.

Guide and determine the information architecture of new and existing product solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Previous experience as a .NET developer highly desired.

Microsoft Azure development experience highly desired.

Proficient with .NET/C# (preferred) or Java

Proficient with front-end development languages including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

Familiarity with Python is a plus.

Self-starter with the ability to lead solution creation and mentor other Jr. Developers.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

User-centric mindset and advanced problem-solving skills

Experience working and collaborating in agile development teams

Ability to take initiative and prioritize time in a fast-paced environment working on multiple initiatives

Knowledge of, or experience in, responsive design
