Day to day tasks include:

Provide support and technical assistance to the New York State Education Department - ACCES-VR Unit, including Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) staff, participants, and vendor community:

Respond to Level 1 support queries via ticket/chat/email/phone

Escalate and/or route queries, as necessary, to appropriate Subject Matter Expert (SME) or unit for resolution

Report significant and recurring issues to team leads

Meet with Organizational Change Management (OCM) Team on weekly basis to identify issues/subject areas for self-service articles/Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Mandatory Qualifications:

Mid-level 36 - 60 months - Help Desk - complete both technical support and organizational duties, including answering telephones, communicating with clients, diagnosing hardware and software malfunctions, troubleshooting problems, replacing hardware and installing new software on clients' machines. Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.

48 Months of Knowledge Management Experience

Secondary Qualifications:

36 Months of Customer Service Experience

36 Months of Experience with Zendesk or Other Helpdesk Support Software

High-school Diploma

Two-year Degree
