Glen Falls House is seeking licensed lifeguards for this summer season!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the overall safety of all patrons in the pool area
- Arriving promptly each day for scheduled shift
- Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout shift
- Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions
- Maintaining a clean pool environment
- Enforcing rules to ensure all patrons are safe
- Act as a first responder in the events of an emergency in the pool
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess valid American Red Cross Lifeguarding & CPR/AED Professional or equivalent certifications
- Maintain satisfactory knowledge on all skills throughout the season
- Effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, managers, vendors, and swimmers sufficiently to exchange or convey information
- Weekend Availability
