Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. We are searching for a Practice Specialist, Medical Billing Professional to join our team. This position is based out of our location at 314 South Manning Boulevard in Albany. Responsibilities:
The Practice Specialist, Medical Billing professional will contribute to the mission and vision of the Center, Center Health Care and assigned practices
Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers and will perform multiple administrative support functions including billing and tracking of insurance requirements
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required
At least 3 years experience in an office environment
Associates Degree in Medical Office Assistant or related field accepted in lieu of experience
Familiarity with insurance and medical billing required
Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position
Position requires routine lifting, bending, pushing, pulling in the course of handling files and supplies, etc. up to 15 – 25 lbs.
The compensation range for this position is $21.50-23.50. Rate of pay is commensurate on experience.
