Lead the day-to-day operational support for server, storage or network infrastructures.
Build, patches, tests (check for compatibility issues, conducts QA), deploys complex systems and platforms meeting clients' needs and specifications.
Lead in planning, troubleshooting and implementing changes to client infrastructure with the goal of enhancing performance.
Perform complex storage and server data backup, data migration and disaster recovery operations.
Perform complex software and operating system upgrades and track system licensing for client products.
Configure security settings or access permissions for client infrastructure.
Document complex procedures and troubleshooting procedures related to client systems/networks software and hardware.
Manage assets and endpoints through Kaseya RMM.
Translate business needs and customer requirements into technical solutions.
Work in conjunction with vendors, consultants, contractors, and IT personnel.
Provides Third level technical support to resolve escalated issues from infrastructure, Level I & II engineers and pre-sales engineers.
Mentors, supports and trains team members to improve their level of expertise.
Leads teams during crisis situations.

Ability to be classified as a subject matter expert in several different fields;
i.e. desktops, servers, virtualization, Office 365, Cloud computing and networking.
What qualifies you?
5-7 years Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator with an In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF).
Ability and experience in building client technology roadmaps for strategy and budget planning.
Excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture.
Ability to on-board new technologies quickly and competently and provide training as needed on these new technologies for internal staff and clients.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Ability to be a trusted advisor to clients; effectively relay information to non-technical clients in a confident, reassuring and patient manner.
Demonstrate initiative, independent judgment, ability to work under high pressure and stress situations and utilize established procedures to address client needs.
Strong presentation, communications and customer management skills required.
Ability to work across teams, groups and functions to build strong relationships.
Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
Ability to work off hours and participate in on-call program.
