Job DescriptionThe Oncology Marketing team is passionate about bringing our medicines to our customers around the world. We are currently recruiting for Senior Specialist, U.S. Marketing – Marketing and Field Execution. The position will report to the Director, of U.S. Marketing – Marketing and Field Execution.This position will work closely with Oncology Marketing brand teams and serve as a liaison between the Oncology brand teams and field sales teams. This position will support Oncology marketing teams for marketing communications and field execution, including communication planning and prioritization, launch readiness planning, and other projects pertaining to field and marketing execution, including national teleconferences and meetings. The Senior Specialist provides a clear line of sight to Marketing Leadership and brand teams, enabling prioritization and informed trade-off decisions for marketing communications and field execution. Strong candidates will demonstrate experience in project planning, communication plan development, and experience working with all levels of leadership within an organization. Through clarity of communication and implementing a strategic communication plan, drives execution of marketing strategy, key initiatives, and change management.
Facilitates collaboration and coordination across multiple marketing and field sales teams.
Is responsible for the operational aspect of communications and non-branded, non-promotional resources.
Working closely with the marketing teams consults on developing and prioritizing marketing to field sales communications, including but not limited to strategy, execution guidance, and operational updates.
Monitoring and coordinating brand resources, initiatives, and capability deployment for the Field Sales organization.
Is responsible for promotional review of communications and resources supporting the Field Sales organization.
Meeting Planning Support (National Sales Meetings, National Leadership Meetings, Launch Meetings)
Collaboration with meeting planning vendors and production companies on project plans and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Partnership with marketing on meeting plans, often making recommendations that reflect prioritization and trade-off decisions.
Special projects, tools, and resources to support marketing, field, communication, and meeting capabilities.
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of (3) years Pharmaceutical business experience. Oncology experience is a plus. Knowledge of field sales systems is a plus.
Must be proficient with technology and willing to learn new applications as the work requires: MS Teams (presentation management and collaboration tools), MS 365, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Strong program management skills, leadership, problem-solving, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills, demonstrated leadership skills experience.
Must be comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and often changing environment.
Experience with collaboration, influencing without authority, and working successfully with cross-functional teams
Ability to manage significant complexity and flexibility
Strong work ethic, sound judgment, confidence in decision-making, and professional presence
