Key Duties and Responsibilities
Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders, servers, and support staff. Provide ongoing coaching, handle performance issues, and maintain a motivated, efficient team.
Inventory and Cost Control: Manage bar inventory including liquor, mixers, glassware, and supplies. Place orders, monitor stock levels, control pour costs, reduce waste, and reconcile cash and sales.
Customer Service and Experience: Ensure excellent service standards, promptly resolve customer complaints, and maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere. Monitor customer satisfaction and create memorable experiences.
Operational Oversight: Open and close the bar, ensure cleanliness and maintenance, monitor equipment functionality, and enforce safety and sanitation standards.
