Local Property Management company is looking for an energetic driven individual to join our Management team.
The Property Manager will be managing properties in various locations around the capital district.
Job Tasks:
Tenant Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, responding promptly to inquiries, addressing maintenance requests, and ensuring overall tenant satisfaction.
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including marketing vacancies, conducting property showings, screening applicants, and processing applications.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs, coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Handle rent collection, enforce payment deadlines, and manage delinquent accounts. Process owner payments. Ensure all financials are entered into management software.
- Oversee tenant move-ins and move-outs, including property inspections and the handling of security deposits.
Qualities:
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of Property Management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and communicate professionally with tenants, contractors, and property owners.
- Demonstrate ability to manage tenant complaints, property issues, and unexpected situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple properties, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with property management software such as Buildium, as well as basic office software such as Microsoft Office & excel
Vehicle & Driver license required.
