Compensation & Benefits:

Pay $15.00 - $19.25 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience

Lead Teacher: $16.00 - $19.25

Teacher: $15.50- $17.25

Assistant Teacher: $15.00 - $16.75

Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.

Limited medical offered for part-time workers.

Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees

  • The Educator is primarily responsible for delivering community horticulture and gardening-based educational programs for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County (CCE Saratoga). Program areas include but are not limited to responding to consumer calls (regarding vegetables, fruits, trees and shrubs, annuals and perennials, insects, diseases of plants, weeds, and household pests, etc.), assisting with Master Gardner Volunteers (MGV) education, public presentations, one-to-one contacts, home visits, and other related programs as assigned. The Educator frequently collaborates with the public, local and county educational institutions, local businesses, community agencies, and decision makers.
