May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Location Manager, or Shop Foreman.Responsibilities:Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and established Integrated Solutions (IS) productsParticipates in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeMentors Service Technician TraineesAttends and supports customer/training clinics as neededMaintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive productsMaintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipmentMaintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashionFollows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentsCompletes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignmentsAccounts for all time and all material used in performing assigned dutiesPrimarily perform diagnosis and repair in the fieldResponsible for other duties as assigned by your managerRequirementsExperience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:3+ years of experience performing service repairsAbility to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures on machines of the Technician’s specialtyAdvanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipmentExcellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposesAbility to use Service Advisor and basic computer functionsAbility to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedlyLandPro Equipment is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
