In this crucial role, you will supervise several Adult Home Care Aides, and you will also assist the house residents in developing independent living skills to increase their self-sufficiency, self-esteem, and self-worth.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision of Adult Home
Operation of Adult Home in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Recruitment and general supervision of staff and volunteers
Supervision of Resident Services, including acting as Case Manager and Activities Director of the Adult Home
Admission, transfer and discharge of residents
Coordination with and development of community activities and services for residents
Maintenance of positive community relations
Protection of Resident's rights and development of appropriate mechanisms for their protection
Maintenance of a system to enable residents to present grievances or recommendations regarding facility operations and programs
Have had training to carry out assignments and take care of emergencies and sudden illnesses of residents.
All other duties as assigned

Associate's Degree in Human Services related field required
3 years' experience working with individuals in human services field
3 years supervisory experience in human services related field
Physical Requirements: Sits, stands, stoops, squats, walks, and moves intermittently during work hours, may push or pull 10-15 pounds daily, may push or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
A valid NYS Driver's License in good standing
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm with on-call scheduleLocation: Bayport, NY
