Req Number 136205Job DescriptionEnsures the Service and the intake of revenue through the retail operations. Responsible for the general appearance of the dining areas. Represents the hospital through hospitality rules of the hospital. Assists handicapped persons at their request. Communicates to the management of the department any adverse comments regarding the services. Assists in special catered affairs.Job Responsibility
Sets-up the café.
Cleans all equipment in the Harvest Café or Cafeteria.
Participates in annual competency review.
Attends meetings, inservices and documents attendance with signature.
Understands and knows the hospital fire and disaster plans.
Understands and knows the importance of proper food temperatures and practices food safety precautions.Demonstrates frequent hand washing, especially after handling money.
Reports malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
Operates register accurately.
Completes all accounting forms for money.
Records all temperatures daily.
Maintains the cleanliness of tables, table bases, and chairs-and general cleanliness of serving are (including spills, food stuffs, etc.)
Maintains the data collection at request.
Restocking all areas of Harvest Café or Cafeteria.
Responsible for the opening and/or closing of the Harvest Café or Cafeteria.
Performs any and all related duties.
ADA Essential FunctionsJob Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Previous experience as a cashier preferably in a hospital setting or corporate setting.
