Location: Binghamton, NY Category: Faculty Posted On: Mon Oct 28 2024 Job Description: The School of Management at Binghamton University (State University of New York) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Accounting starting mid-August 2025, subject to budgetary approval.The teaching component (2 + 2) requires delivering required/elective courses in Accounting at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Faculty are expected to participate in curriculum development and assessment, and engage in other service duties for the school and the college, both internally and externally, and contribute to the intellectual environment of the area. To support faculty research, the school provides summer funding for the first three years of service and subscriptions to WRDS and other standard databases.The School of Management (SOM) at Binghamton University and the Accounting Program have received separate AACSB accreditations and is nationally recognized for its success in developing future business leaders. The School offers bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. programs. SOM consistently ranks among the top 50 best undergraduate business schools, best colleges for business majors (Money), and the top business schools in the country for best value (Poets & Quants, PayScale).
