TITLE: Associate Engineer LOCATIONS: NY - Kirkwood - JACC , NY- Rochestor , CT- Orange SALARY RANGE: 69260 to 86576$Work-Type : OFFICEMajor Roles and Responsibilities:Has entry level understanding of Distribution Power Systems and Engineering Design (e.g. modeling, symmetrical components).Develop distribution system power flow model for the purpose of studying the interconnection of generation and storage using CYME Software utilizing Avangrid Distribution Planning Guides.Analyze and assess complex DER distribution system interconnections at numerous voltage levels. Document and communicate results and recommendations as appropriate including data interpretation, report writing, and summary presentations.Analyze and assess complex new customer connections to the distribution system at numerous voltage levels. Document and communicate results and recommendations as appropriate including data manipulation, report writing, and summary presentations.Ability to solve interconnections impact related problems with guidance from senior engineers.Ability to process, manipulate, understand, and represent data produced by analytical software, contained in power system study reports, or extracted from databases.
