As a Maintenance Apprentice, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility through various maintenance tasks. From advanced surface preparation to highly technical finishing processes, we can handle the smallest pieces to large parts over 30 feet long. Whether it is electroplating, electroless plating, wet paint, or powder coat, we finish it right the first time! Position Overview
Perform Routine Maintenance:
Assist experienced maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
Troubleshoot and Repair:
Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and building issues.
Preventative Maintenance:
Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance under supervision.
Work Orders:
Swiftly respond to work order requests, ensuring minimal downtime.
General Maintenance:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
Qualifications
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to push up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb as needed.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe is preferred.
