As a Production Engineer, you will support daily operations by planning and designing manufacturing processes, maintaining workflow efficiency, and leading continuous improvement activities. As part of the Quality and Production Engineering team, you will provide technical expertise and leadership in manufacturing, ensuring processes align with quality, cost, and logistics requirements. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards in production efficiency, safety, and quality.You Will:
Maximize product line efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, quality improvements, and workforce utilization.
Implement Engineering Change Orders, including updating process documentation, tooling, and conducting operator training.
Promote safety awareness and design processes to ensure operator safety while training staff in 5S and visual factory practices.
Lead standard work and cell design activities using Lean Manufacturing tools.
Maintain and improve product process control documentation and develop visual aids to sustain standard work.
Collaborate with Buyer/Planner to reduce material costs, improve supplier quality, and assist with new supplier development.
Design and develop machine tooling to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process capability, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with UL, ASME, and other regulatory requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert for quality, lean manufacturing, flow, and safety within the product line.
Conduct quality audits, inspections, and Material Review Boards to address non-conforming products.
Maintain quality system logs, calibration tasks, and production system plans.
Support warranty cost recovery and manufacturing initiatives to improve cost, quality, and throughput.
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 1 year of Production, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering experience.
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with ASME standards and processes.
A demonstrated ability to lead world-class quality strategies and initiatives.
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 - $82,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
