job detailsjob summary:A Customer Account Administrator is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Bohemia, NY area. The Customer Account Administrator oversees the comprehensive management of customer accounts, handling purchase orders, issue resolution and communication while serving as the primary liaison between customers and the company.location: Bohemia, New Yorkjob type: Contractsalary: $37.14 - 51.50 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:

Manage the full life cycle of customer purchase orders, including receiving, reviewing, approving, processing, and follow-up.

Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction.

Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer contacts through open and interactive communication.

Handle customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within set time limits, and following up to ensure resolution.

Manage incoming phone calls and emails from both internal and external customers.

Analyze contractual documents, pricing, and lead times of all assigned customer contracts.

Serve as a liaison between customers and company personnel regarding contract commitments, modifications, and revisions.

Skills:

Background in account or client management, with a strong sense of customer service and relationship building.

Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Word and Excel, with familiarity with Pivot Tables and V-Look Ups in Excel.

Desired Skills:

Proven customer support experience or experience as a Customer Account Manager.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Superior organizational skills.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Ability to anticipate needs and show initiative.

Aerospace industry experience preferred.

Manufacturing experience preferred.
