Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Non-Profit industry, located in Bronx, New York. This role involves handling a multi-line phone system, providing excellent customer service, and managing data entry and email correspondence. Responsibilities: Operate a multi-line phone system, ensuring all calls are answered promptly and directed to the correct department or individual Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner Manage data entry tasks, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date Handle email correspondence, responding to inquiries and forwarding messages as needed Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word to complete tasks and manage information Maintain an organized filing system, ensuring all records are easily accessible and secure Schedule appointments, managing calendars and ensuring all parties are informed of changes Use strong interpersonal skills to interact with team members, clients, and visitors Ensure the reception area is kept tidy and welcoming for all visitors. Requirements Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook. Experience in answering multi-line phone systems. Excellent customer service skills. Proven ability in data entry. Capable of organizing files efficiently. Ability to schedule appointments accurately. Proficient in email correspondence. Strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a receptionist role in a non-profit organization is preferred. Familiarity with the non-profit industry is an advantage. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to handle confidential information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
