Assistant Property Manager

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Property Administrator in Brooklyn, New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining property-related activities and ensuring the smooth running of all operations related to our properties. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Accounting Software Systems, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and have a clear understanding of Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Correspondence, Documentation, and Insurance.Responsibilities: Utilize Accounting Software Systems and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for property administration tasks. Leverage Microsoft Excel and Office Suites to create and manage property-related documents and spreadsheets. Use Microsoft Outlook for effective communication with property owners, tenants, and service providers. Perform accounting functions, including processing and monitoring payments, managing invoices, and maintaining budget reports. Manage accounts payable (AP), ensuring all property-related bills are paid on time. Handle correspondence with property owners, tenants, and service providers. Create and maintain comprehensive property documentation, including contracts, lease agreements, and service contracts. Liaise with insurance companies for property insurance matters, ensuring all properties are adequately covered. Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repair work as needed. Keep up-to-date records of property status and provide reports to management as required.
