Description We are offering a role in the telecom industry for an Account Manager based in Maspeth, New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer credit accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining customer credit records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. Maintain and update customer credit records. Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Conduct Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Trial Balance. Prepare Journal Entries and Income Statements. Work closely with customers to resolve credit inquiries and disputes. Provide regular account updates to management. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure all financial data is accurate. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Continually improve and streamline the credit process for efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in an Account Manager role or similar Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation Ability to prepare and analyze income statements Experience in journal entry preparation Familiarity with trial balance and associated procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.
